The assignment
A banking group needed to translate data-protection requirements into consistent operating practice. Processes, technology and people all had a part to play.
My contribution
I led consulting delivery across business, legal, compliance, technology and operations. My role was to organise the implementation; legal decisions and control responsibilities remained with the relevant bank functions.
What the work achieved
The approach was implemented across the group and subsequently applied to Swiss data-protection requirements. It brought together the practices and learning needed to support the change.
What I bring to a similar situation
Experience of regulatory change that reaches everyday work: clear responsibilities, workable processes and people who understand what changes for them.
